(Evangelical Lutheran Women)

We are a Christ-centered community of women who are committed to nurturing our faith and spiritual strength to enable us to be people of God in mission.

Three groups meet monthly for Bible study and on occasion for other special events. For a schedule of meetings, see Calendar.

(Bits & Pieces)

Join us for fellowship and quilt-making! Experience  not necessary.

         Every 2nd & 4th Wednesday of the month @ 1:00 pm
In the church basement.

Come out to the church and see some unique cloth pictures in the form of quilts. Each one has an inspiring story to tell, perhaps designed by someone you know. The quilts that are made are then given to those in need.

Girls, Moms, Grandmoms!
Just come anytime!
We have lots of fun (and lunch, too)!

Our Mission
To supply relief to disaster areas in the world.

Our Vision
To give warmth and comfort to the afflicted, with a message that someone cares.

Our Value
Quilts & Baby Layettes recently have been sent to war-torn countries like Kosovo, and to flood victims in India, and hurricane victims in Central America.

We are a 55 Plus Group, started in 1997. Meetings are held usually the 1st & 3rd Wednesday of each month, usually at 1:30 pm (except in June, July and August) hosted by different members. We plan different events for each month, like playing cards & other games, potluck lunches, and have taken many day trips around the province.

We are looking for new members. So, if you would like to get to know the older group around the church, please come and join us! We would love to have you.

We have a
great time!

Shalom Women is a group of women from New Hope Lutheran Church who meet once a month to have fellowship over a meal (each person pays for her own). We normally meet at a restaurant, enjoying a good meal and a relaxing evening out. It is an excellent way to get to know other women from the congregation. You can attend as few or as many suppers as you wish.

We welcome all women from New Hope Lutheran.
If you have a visitor in your home, please feel free to bring her along.

Watch the church's Sunday bulletins for this announcement, or see our Calendar (Upcoming Events page) for a schedule.

Labyrinth          A Prayer Walk

In the basement painted on the carpet at Faith is a series of circles that form a pathway called a ‘Labyrinth’.  The walking path has one entrance by the cross of Christ Jesus and circles and curves its way through seven circuits to the very center, again next to the cross of Christ.  The person slowly walks while praying, starting in silence at the entrance and proceeding on the single path to the center, and in appropriate time, walking slowly back out to the entrance again.
