Prayer Requests

Everyone's Job, Everyone's Joy.  When was the last time you heard someone say, "That is the pastor's job," when referring to some aspect of ministry? Ministry is not just the job (or, better yet, the opportunity) of the clergy. The opportunity and responsibility for doing ministry has been given to all Christians. The upcoming Stephen Ministry training class is a chance to be trained and equipped for doing ministry. Talk to any of our Stephen Ministers; they will tell you that it is a joyous privilege to share Christ's love with others. Is this chance for ministry the one for you? Think about it.

A Stephen Minister training class is scheduled for late spring, 2010. Contact our Training Coordinators, Yvonne W. or Donna C., or Pastor Lueck today to find out more about this ministry.

Christ Caring for People through People

The mission of Stephen Ministry at Faith Lutheran Church is to provide Christ-centred care, by using the spiritual gifts of the members of our community in Christ.

Stephen Ministry enhances our outreach by …

Ř    creating a “caring ministry explosion” where many instead of a few are offering God’s love and care in intentional, systematic ways.

Ř    enabling our entire congregation to grow as a warm, loving, nurturing community where people are cherished and cared for in Jesus Christ.

Ř    identifying our congregation to our community as a place where people’s needs are taken seriously.

Faith Lutheran Church of Regina has been a Stephen Series congregation since 1995.
